Make A Change

Howzit,

Today I will share about something that has been on my heart for a long time and I believe now is the time to share it with you.

On June 16 in 1976, many young people took a stand against injustices that were choking their freedom, limiting their potential and crippling their future.

Fed up with being fed up, they united and in one accord said "no more". Their actions and sacrifices woke up the world, and created echoes that are still heard today.

37 years later we, the young people of this nation, find ourselves once again faced with situations and circumstances that are choking our freedom, limit our potential and place our hopes and dreams of a better tomorrow in crisis.

Now,just as then, is the time to take a stand against the many problems that are plaguing us and threatening to steal our joy, kill our hope and destroy our destinies. What this enemy has done is evident when you read the paper, Unemployment is high in SA, drug abuse is rampant, teenage pregnancies are the norm and even worse the opportunities many died for, so they could be opened up to us are being lost.

Today the enemy we are battling is the "inner me" that is ruled by the flesh, and fulfilling its lusts. The stand we must take is making a determined decision not to forfeit our destiny for instant pleasure and gratification. its time once again for the young people to make the world sit up and take notice, its time to unite and refuse for the devil to dance about in our schools, our communities, our homes and our lives.

When we each make the decision to be the change we want to see then, and only then, can the answer to the age old question "can 1 person make a difference" be yes

We will soon begin a case study of the lives of Joshua and Daniel and see the decisions they made and how they catapulted them to greatness, influence and significance as well as enabled them to change the course of history.

Additionally we will begin programs as Faith City Church to help you make right decisions as well as equip you with skills that will help you achieve results in your life.

You can be a chicken or a champion, all it takes is a decision..

Peace out

  1. Indeed change comes from within, and we can be the best young men and women that God has destined us to be. I see myself as a proverbs 31 woman, if the bible says such a woman does exist than why can't it be me? Lol, m working my way there and I trust that with the holy spirit as my best friend I will get there.
Thank you for the word, it was truly inspiring and an eye opener to the things(shocking statistics)we choose to ignore and pretend that they don't affect us.
